In an effort to keep clients updated with the progress of work and mostly to make it easier for me to share updates more often, I’m planning to build an automation that collects data from tools I’m already using to summarize and prepare for each client on a weekly basis.
- Capture daily summaries from my Sunsama shutdown step
- Run through a Zap that pulls my client names from AirTable, summarizes tasks into a project database (notion or zap table)
- Depending on the cadence of each client (defined in notion attribute), use Claude or NotionAI to summarize the week’s tasks into a client-ready update of progress, completions, obstacles, delays, and next steps
- Auto-draft the message and create a task in Sunsama with the drafted info ready to update and send
